That’s completely okay. There is no single “right” way to participate in Ginga.
Movements can be adapted for different bodies, mobility levels, communication styles, cognitive needs, and ways of participating. This can include seated movements, simplified movements, different speeds, or additional support.
Our focus is on helping you participate in a way that feels safe, enjoyable, and achievable for you.
-
Yes! Our programs are specifically designed with disability inclusion and adaptability in mind.
Activities can be modified around each participant’s abilities, needs, goals, and preferences, creating a supportive environment where people can build skills without pressure to perform movements in any one particular way.
If you have specific accessibility or support requirements, you’re welcome to discuss them with us before joining.

No. Ginga is open to people with disability regardless of whether they are an NDIS participant.
You can participate as a private-paying student, or you may use NDIS funding if the program is appropriate for your individual plan and available funding.
-
Depending on your individual NDIS plan and how your funding is managed, you may be able to use your funding to participate in Ginga.
Because every NDIS plan is different, we recommend checking that the program aligns with your available funding. If you are unsure, contact us and we can provide information about the program and invoicing to help you speak with your plan manager or support coordinator.
Our classes can be billed under Community Engagement Assistance, which falls under the Capacity Building category of the NDIS.
-
Classes cost $35/class and we will provide an invoice for your sessions.
If you are paying privately, you can pay the invoice directly.
If you are using eligible NDIS funding, the invoice can be processed according to the way your plan is managed.
We can also explain the payment process when you enrol.
-
Yes. We want participants to feel comfortable and supported. Where appropriate, a support worker, parent, carer, or other support person can attend with you.
Contact us before your first class if you would like to further discuss what support you may need.
